  When I joined DFC I had a bad hip, I couldn't put my socks on easily, I couldn't do a press up (my upper body strength was non existent) and I felt tired all the time. That very first day I was so apprehensive about walking into Devon Fit Camp and taking part in the session that I very nearly chickened out. But there was Claire's smiling face, reassuring me it was going to be OK and, it was!
  
  A year on and I'm struggling to put into words how different I feel. I've lost a stone in weight but more importantly I've lost inches. I'm so much more flexible and I'm stronger (I can now do a full press up, on my toes) and for the first time in quite a while, I feel better in myself. I've also made some incredible friends.
  
  I'm getting compliments on my appearance and have so much more energy and I sleep like a baby. Getting up at 5.15am to get to 6am camp isn't a problem for me now either and I NEVER thought I'd say THAT!!
